A FREE CONCERT with a special format
FIRST HALF: performance by professional string quartet

String Quartet in B-flat Major, Op.18 No.6
with Lucy Hewson and Ruth O’Shea (violins) Michelle Falcon (viola) & Matthew Greswell (cello)
There will be a short interval with time for a cup of tea and a piece of cake.
SECOND HALF: option to join in a play-through of Gustav Holst's St Paul's Suite.

The concert is open to all and of course, audience members are more than welcome to just listen for the whole thing.
Second half play-along
The second half will take the format of an extremely informal romp through this fabulous piece by Holst: no rehearsal, no conductor, just lots of fun!
This would suit players of the violin, viola, cello or double bass of about grade 4 standard and above.
All ages are welcome to play; under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
